Gilbert Next Level

The Town of Gilbert has partnered with the Maricopa Information Technology Institute (MITI), Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC), and Mesa Community College (MCC) to provide job training scholarships for Gilbert residents.

Summary

Gilbert Next Level is a first-come, first-served scholarship opportunity.

Over the course of its operation, the Gilbert Next Level Resident Career Training Program has provided supplemental funding via scholarships to more than 450 Gilbert-based students enrolled at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) and Mesa Community College (MCC), supporting their progress toward high-demand careers. This program has been a valued component of Gilbert’s economic and workforce development strategy.

The program will conclude effective July 1, 2026, as the Gilbert Office of Economic Development transitions to supporting ongoing education and workforce development through The CATALYST business resource center. We remain proud of the partnership with Maricopa Information Technology Institute (MITI) and the program’s impact over the last five years. We encourage students to continue developing their talents and pursuing opportunities that not only advance their careers but also strengthen Gilbert’s vibrant and growing community.
