Course Information
Jamf Training Foundation (BPC265) - 3 credits: The Jamf Training Foundation offers a core understanding of Jamf Pro and Jamf Protect as well as an enterprise-focused examination of the macOS, iOS, and iPadOS platforms. The hands-on and example-based environment provides experience in the configuration of Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, device enrollment, distributing App Store apps, building and managing packages to deploy to computers, configuration and settings for computers and mobile devices, device security, a scripting overview (Bash), and an introduction to the security standards. This offering includes content and certification opportunities from the Jamf 100, 170, and 200 courses. Prerequisites: None

Upon completing BPC265, you'll be eligible for two discounted attempts at the JAMF 200 exam, offered at an exclusive rate of $120 per attempt. This benefit will not only boost your resume but also give you a competitive edge in the job market.
Capstone & Internship Opportunity
After successfully completing BPC265 and earning your JAMF certifications, you could qualify for an exciting opportunity to advance your education through a semester-long capstone with Mesa Community College's IT department. This hands-on experience is available by enrolling in CIS285, a 3-credit course.
Upon completing the Capstone course, students may be eligible to apply for paid internship opportunities with our industry partners to further develop their skills in a professional setting. Please note that internship placement is not guaranteed and is ultimately at the discretion of the industry partner based on resume screenings, interviews, and organizational needs.
Steps to Enroll
Step 1: Get Admitted to Mesa Community College
- Complete the admissions application under New Students. If you are currently enrolled at MCC, skip to step 2. If you are admitted at another Maricopa County Community College apply under Returning Students.
- Provide proof of identification during the online application process. If you are unable to provide your ID via the admissions application, you can also submit it here once you have submitted your application.
Step 2: Enroll in BPC265
- Class time and availability can be looked up online at Find a Class.
